Os parlamentares da Comunidade dos Países de Língua Portuguesa (CPLP) solicitaram, na quinta-feira (23.07), em Luanda, o apoio do Presidente da República, João Lourenço, para fortalecer a união e a coesão entre os Estados-membros.
O pedido foi compartilhado pela presidente da Assembleia Parlamentar da organização, a moçambicana Margarida Talapa, após uma audiência de cortesia concedida pelo Chefe de Estado, aos líderes legislativos da lusofonia.
Segundo a parlamentar, uma das principais preocupações apresentadas foi a ausência regular do Brasil nas conferências da CPLP, defendendo um esforço conjunto para superar esse desafio. “Gostaríamos que pudéssemos todos discutir os nossos problemas, numa abordagem única”, declarou.
Margarida Talapa destacou que a presença activa de todos os países é fundamental, para a solidez do órgão de diálogo interparlamentar.
